Lebenslauf:

Der ursprünglich aus New York stammende Arias ist professioneller Sänger. Er besuchte die Carnegie Mellon University. Seine Vorfahren stammen aus Kolumbien und Puerto Rico. Yancey hatte seinen Durchbruch als "Miguel Caderas" in der Miniserie "Kingpin". Dies ebnete ihm den Weg zu Hauptrollen in anderen von den Kritikern gelobten Produktionen. Dazu gehören "Walkout", wofür er eine A.L.M.A.-Award-Nominierung als bester Nebendarsteller bekam, "American Family" und "Thief". Als Gaststar war Yancey in zahlreichen Fernsehserien zu sehen, darunter "Charmed", "Law & Order", "The Sopranos", "CSI: Miami", "NYPD Blue" und "The Shield".

Im Kino spielte er in "The Time Machine", "Live Free Or Die Hard" und in den neuen Filmen "Hotel California", "Street Dreams" und "Behind Enemy Lines: Ghost Watch" mit.

Am Broadway trat er in Cameron Makintoshs Hit-Musical "Miss Saigon" auf sowie in George Wolfs "The Wild Party".

Am 22.12.2002 heiratete er seine Frau Anna. Mit ihr und seiner Familie lebt Yancey in Los Angeles und widmet seine Zeit und Energie verschiedenen Wohltätigkeitsorganisation für Kinder und Krebsprävention, darunter seiner eigenen Stiftung "The Lives To Save", die Spenden für Katastrophenopfer sammelt.
